As a self-taught artist, I get my inspiration from humans & colors. Human beings have always impressed me. Just imagine how amazing it is to create more than 7 billion people hand-crafted and hand-painted so that no one looks alike and each is unique. Colors are everywhere. We are colored, and nature is colored. Colors define things around us and that is why I love bold and vivid hues and shades. I always sign my paintings "ian" as a tribute to my Armenian heritage.

This collection represents humans on their way to ascension. I believe we are born to ascend. Many embark on this journey to attain financial or social status, others to get fame and stardom and some just let destiny takes its course. Yet, in our subconscious, we are all after one common ascension: the spiritual one. For me, spiritual ascension is when one becomes fearless. Nothing scares him not death nor any kind of loss...At this almost unattainable phase, Man will find answers, he will become one with the Creator. PERHAPS ONE DAY...
